Homebuilding
With years of construction and framing experience, Monarch Group of Companies has an excellent understanding of the industry and for building efficient and affordable homes. Our hands-on experience allows us to design homes with optimal features on a budget. Our strength is that we design homes with both buyer and builder in mind.
We construct our spec homes to fit in a standard 33 foot city lot. Unlike most companies, contracting Monarch Group doesn't mean hiring someone to oversee the project. We design and build our homes. Our field experience qualifies us to complete a large portion of the construction work, at which point the remainder of the work is entrusted to our qualified partners to dramatically reduce the contracting labour costs.
Monarch Group is committed to providing competitively priced, well-built homes that aesthetically contribute to Edmonton's mature neighbourhoods. We have extensive experience on infill and mature neighbourhood builds as well as training for age-in-place design. Our primary focus is customer satisfaction; we are dedicated to providing beautifully built homes for all our clients' budgets.
Framing
Established in 2005 as a framing company, we have extensive experience with residential and commercial construction, including multi- and single-family homes, condominium projects, structural modifications and commercial renovations. We still do infill framing for other builders, private clients, and our own projects.

Tree Houses
Peter’s earliest construction experience was building what became an expansive treehouse on his family farm. Since then, Monarch employees have taken professional treehouse design and construction training with the Global Treehouse Symposium.
Treehouse experiments were started in Peter’s own backyard in Edmonton, Alberta. If you have a suitable tree and a desire for a tree-structure of any kind, we would be happy to take on the project.
Permanent Wood Foundations

Permanent Wood Foundations (PWFs) are fast becoming the foundation of choice for anyone looking for a warm, dry, durable, and environmentally friendly foundation option. Originally developed for Canada’s frigid climate in the 60’s, many consumers are returning to the idea of a highly insulated, carbon sequestering basement.
The key to having a good quality PWF is in finding a reputable, qualified installer. We have extensive experience with PWF, and would be happy to quote your PWF project today. Engineering is also available.
